(WNY News Now) – Lakewood, N.Y. – Mark your calendars for “FriYAY!” on Friday, August 2, and join a vibrant community event that combines enjoyment with a cause.
No reservations are required to have some fun and raise some funds for Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC) at “FriYAY!,” on Friday, August 2.
The fundraiser takes place at The Empty Bottle, Southern Tier Distilling’s official tasting room, cocktail bar, and retail shop at 2051A Stoneman Circle in Lakewood, New York.
Audubon staff and volunteers will be “guest-bartenders” from 5 to 8 p.m., serving drinks to help raise money in support of ACNC’s mission of connecting people to nature. Audubon receives 10% of all purchases during that time, including online orders at Facebook.com/EmptyBottleSTDC.
Live music will be provided by Rochester’s 5 Second Rule, Facebook.com/5SecondRuleRochester.
Gather your friends to support a great cause and a local business at the same time. Be sure to bring some cash to participate in the ever-popular basket raffle.
Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, N.Y., and Warren, Pa.
