(WNY News Now) – Little Valley – Two young fairgoers from Cattaraugus County rode away with new bikes, courtesy of the Sheriff’s Office’s annual raffle.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) continues its tradition of giving back to the community by hosting its annual bicycle raffle at the Cattaraugus County Fair. This year, the event saw two lucky 7-year-olds, Charlotte Wilkey from South Dayton and Brentley Worthington from Cuba, winning brand new bicycles.

The raffle, a highlight for many families attending the fair, is made possible by the Cattaraugus County Benevolent Association (CCBA), which generously purchases the bicycles each year. The winners were announced at the CCSO tent, where they were greeted and congratulated by CCBA President Kristi Weaver and Administrative Lieutenant Melanie Churakos of the CCSO.

Charlotte and Brentley were all smiles as they posed for photos with their new bikes alongside Weaver and Churakos. The Sheriff’s Office expressed its gratitude to the community for their continued support and participation in the fair’s festivities.
