(WNY News Now) – Allegany – On August 16, 2024, at approximately 9:05 AM, 24-year-old Hannah L. Black was arrested for petit larceny at the Walmart located on Plaza Drive in Allegany, New York. Black, a resident of Salamanca, allegedly attempted to steal merchandise from the store, leading to her apprehension by store security.
Following the incident, Black was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Substation in Olean for processing. She was subsequently released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Allegany Court for further proceedings at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
