(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, NY — Robbie Stearns, 29, of Jamestown, faces charges of petit larceny following two separate shoplifting incidents at Target, located at 975 Fairmount Ave.
On August 11 and August 12, 2024, Stearns allegedly took merchandise from the store without paying. The Town of Ellicott Police responded to the scene, and Stearns was apprehended on August 12 shortly after the incidents. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott court at a later date to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
