(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, N.Y. – The Audubon Community Nature Center (ACNC) is offering a limited-time opportunity to support nature education through their 2024 t-shirt fundraiser, featuring a unique turtle tower design by in-house artist Kim Turner. The deadline to order is Monday, September 2.
These amazing and resilient animals inspired the turtle tower design created by in-house designer Kim Turner for Audubon’s 2024 t-shirt fundraiser.
Monday, September 2 is the deadline to place your order from the selection of t-shirts in a variety of adult sizes in short and long sleeves, women’s cut short-sleeves, youth tees, and adult and youth hooded sweatshirts. All are made from a cotton-poly blend and are a mint-green color with brown print. XXLs are available for an additional charge.
Funds raised by this sale benefit ACNC’s numerous nature education programs. Your purchase also supports local business, as Sideline Sports prints the shirts.
For the details and to order, click through Programs and Events at AudubonCNC.org. Select “in-person pick-up” to pick up your order between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Nature Center on Friday, September 20 or Saturday, September 21 or “ship my order” for an additional shipping fee.

Audubon Community Nature Center is located at 1600 Riverside Road, one-quarter mile east of Route 62 between Jamestown, N.Y., and Warren, Pa. You can visit the nearly 600-acre nature preserve, check in on the live birds of prey, enjoy the native tree arboretum, gardens, picnic area, and hike over five miles of trails dawn until dusk daily for free.
The three-story Nature Center building houses interactive displays, a collection of live animals including the Hellbender exhibit, and the Blue Heron Gift Shop. Visitors are welcome Mondays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Sundays, 1–4:30 p.m. Nature Center members and SNAP/EBT cardholders have free building admission daily. Building admission is also free every Sunday for non-Nature Center members.
