(WNY News Now) – Falconer – A Jamestown man faces criminal charges after a May burglary in Falconer led to the theft of a vehicle and several other items.
Larry J. Whitehill Jr., 44, of Jamestown, has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree following a burglary investigation in Falconer. The incident, which occurred at the end of May 2024, involved the overnight theft of a vehicle and other items from a building in Falconer.
The Town of Ellicott Police Department responded to the reported burglary and conducted a thorough investigation. Their findings led to the discovery that Whitehill had taken and was in possession of some of the stolen property. An arrest warrant was issued by the Town of Ellicott Court, and Whitehill was subsequently located and apprehended by the Jamestown Police Department.
Whitehill was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to face the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
