(WNY News Now) – Ellicott – A Youngsville woman faces charges after being accused of stealing from a local store in Ellicott.
Rochelle C. Coone, 52, of Youngsville, Pennsylvania, has been charged with petit larceny following an incident on August 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The Town of Ellicott Police Department responded to a shoplifting complaint at a local retail establishment, where it is alleged that Coone took items without paying and left the premises.
According to the police, Coone was apprehended shortly after the incident and was issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges against her. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
