(WNY News Now) – Franklinville – On September 1, 2024, a Cheektowaga man was arrested following an ATV accident on Bennett Road in Franklinville, NY, resulting in charges of driving while intoxicated and endangering a child.
At approximately 4:01 PM on September 1, 2024, Paul J. McKinney, a 52-year-old resident of Cheektowaga, NY, was involved in an ATV accident on Bennett Road in Franklinville. The incident led to McKinney’s arrest on several serious charges, including driving while intoxicated, driving under the influence with a child 15 years old or younger, and endangering the welfare of a child. Additionally, McKinney faces multiple traffic violations.
McKinney was processed and issued appearance tickets. He has been scheduled to return to Franklinville Town Court at a future date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
