(WNY News Now) – Allegany – A 59-year-old man from Portville was arrested for criminal trespass after an incident at a Walmart in Allegany, New York.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Donald M. White, 59, of Portville, New York, following a criminal trespass incident at Walmart, located at 1869 Plaza Drive, Allegany. The incident occurred at approximately 8:52 a.m. on September 9, 2024.
The arrest was made after Walmart staff contacted law enforcement, complaining of White’s presence on the property. White was charged with Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree under New York Penal Law 140.10(a). Authorities state that the charge stems from White allegedly being on the property without authorization.
White was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Allegany Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
