(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – Two Syracuse Police Officers were injured in a motor vehicle collision on Erie Boulevard Thursday afternoon, with both being transported to the hospital for treatment.
On September 12th, 2024, at approximately 4:58 p.m., a marked Syracuse Police patrol vehicle was involved in a collision at the intersection of Erie Boulevard and North McBride Street. The officers, traveling eastbound on Erie Boulevard, were struck by another vehicle making a turn at the intersection.
Both officers sustained injuries and were taken to Upstate Hospital Emergency Room by American Medical Response. Fortunately, their injuries are reported as non-life threatening. The driver of the other vehicle involved was evaluated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
