(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A 34-year-old Syracuse man was stabbed multiple times on Saturday evening but is expected to recover.

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at approximately 7:23 p.m., Syracuse Police responded to a report of a stabbing at the intersection of Clinton Street and Dickerson Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 34-year-old man lying on the sidewalk with multiple stab wounds to his back, arms, and legs.

Emergency medical personnel from American Medical Response transported the victim to Upstate Hospital’s Emergency Room. Fortunately, his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening, and he is anticipated to make a full recovery.

The Syracuse Police Department is urging anyone with information about the stabbing to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
