(WNY News Now) – Salamanca – A 34-year-old Salamanca man faces charges of burglary and grand larceny after a search warrant led deputies to recover stolen property.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of Andrew L. Button, 34, of Salamanca, New York, following an investigation into a burglary incident. Deputies executed a search warrant at Button’s residence at 4109 North State Street on the morning of September 13, 2024.

During the search, authorities recovered numerous stolen items linked to a prior burglary. Button was arraigned in Salamanca City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face the charges of burglary and grand larceny. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
