(WNY News Now) – Harrisburg, PA – Authorities have arrested a Monroe County man following a raid on his Saylorsburg home that revealed a dangerous arsenal of explosives and significant quantities of illegal drugs. The search, conducted on September 12, led to the discovery of 24 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), firearms, and several pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine.

Robert C. Stull, 46, of Kunkletown Road, was apprehended and faces numerous felony charges, including possession with intent to deliver, illegal possession of firearms, and weapons of mass destruction. Law enforcement, including agents from the Office of the Attorney General and an FBI bomb squad, carried out the search and arrest.

“A thorough investigation and collaboration with law enforcement resulted in the arrest of a dangerous individual, who possessed guns and explosives as part of his drug trafficking operation,” Attorney General Henry said. “The cache of firearms and explosives found at the scene put investigators and the community at great potential risk. I am thankful this arrest was carried out without anyone being hurt.”

The search of Stull’s home yielded:

  • 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine
  • 3.6 pounds of cocaine
  • 24 improvised explosive devices
  • 3 firearms, including one with an obliterated serial number
  • $22,409 in cash
  • Over 10 pounds of marijuana and THC products

The Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) provided support for the operation, ensuring the area was secured and no explosives detonated. Stull has been arraigned with a cash bail set at $250,000, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 19.

The case will be prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Christy Schlottman, while the defendant remains presumed innocent until proven guilty.
