(WNY News Now) – Randolph – On September 18, 2024, at approximately 1:30 PM, deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Hiram Donato, 41, of Jamestown, NY, during a warrant execution on Bowen Road in Randolph, New York. The arrest was made after deputies confirmed that Donato had an active bench warrant issued by Chautauqua County Court.
Donato was taken into custody without incident. The bench warrant, issued under CPL 530.70, allowed for his arrest due to a previous court order violation. Upon his arrest, Donato was safely transported to a secure location where his custody was transferred to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
