(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – On September 26, 2024, at approximately 10:16 a.m., Jamestown Police officers on patrol in the area of W 6th Street and Cherry Street identified 29-year-old Tyrel S. Adelgren Foster, who had outstanding warrants for several serious charges, including felony Criminal Mischief 3rd, Criminal Mischief 4th, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Assault 3rd.

Upon attempting to apprehend Foster, officers engaged in a brief foot pursuit before successfully taking him into custody. Foster was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he faced an additional charge of Resisting Arrest.

Later that afternoon, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Foster appeared in Jamestown City Court for arraignment. Despite facing multiple charges, including felony and misdemeanor offenses, Foster was released on his own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
