(WNY News Now) – Falconer – A Jamestown man faces harassment charges following an incident at a Falconer business that escalated into physical violence.

On September 24, 2024, at approximately 10:09 AM, Rudy R. Tatis Lopez, 49, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment after an altercation at a business in the Village of Falconer. According to reports, Tatis Lopez allegedly struck a male victim in the face multiple times during a dispute.

Ellicott Officers responded promptly to the scene after receiving reports of the incident. Following their investigation, Tatis Lopez was located a short distance away from the business and taken into custody without further incident. He was subsequently issued an appearance ticket for the harassment charge and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the allegations. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
