(WNY News Now) – This November, gather your friends for a meaningful experience that blends creativity with community impact. The Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women invites you to its year-end fundraising event.
Allegany County – Empower women in our communities while creating a stunning centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table! The Allegany-Cattaraugus-Chautauqua Fund for Women (ACC FFW) is launching our year-end fund-raising season with a hands-on centerpiece experience in November. With the Thanksgiving holiday just around the corner, a florist and former grantee, Ariel Cartwright of The Mayberry Jungle, will guide participants in creating beautiful Pumpculent (pumpkin/succulent) centerpieces in various sizes.
The Pumpculent centerpiece classes are scheduled for two dates to enable supporters from across our three-county region to choose a convenient date and time.
- Mayville, NY: Sunday November 3rd at the Mayberry Jungle at 36 S. Erie Street (https://www.themayberryjungle.com/).
- Alfred, NY: Sunday November 17th in the Kenyon Allen room of the Powell Campus Center on the Alfred University campus (https://www.alfred.edu/about/map/) .
Each location will host three sessions at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 pm., with seating reserved for 20 attendees per session. Tickets may be purchased online: https://www.accffw.org/fundraiser.
Participants may choose between $40 and $60 make-your-own centerpiece experience packages. The Pumpculent experience is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors: Maple City Financial Services, Walker Business and Staffing Services, Inc., and The Mayberry Jungle.
All proceeds go directly to the Fund for Women’s grant-giving program, benefitting women seeking financial assistance for long-term financial health. Since 2018, the ACC FFW has awarded more than $17,000 in grants to women across the three counties, helping them on their path toward sustained self-sufficiency.
Donations can be made directly to the ACC FFW via https://www.accffw.org/donate-now.
