(WNY News Now) – A 27-year-old Olean man was arrested on multiple warrants during a routine patrol near the Olean Mall.
Olean, N.Y. – On October 7, 2024, at approximately 6:24 PM, Sheriff Eric A. Butler reported the arrest of Bryce V. Lichy, 27, of Olean, NY, on two active warrants for violations of Family Court orders out of Cattaraugus County. Lichy was spotted by patrol while walking down North Union Street near the Olean Mall and was identified as the subject of outstanding warrants.
Lichy was taken into custody without incident and arraigned later that evening in Allegany Town Court. Following his arraignment, he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail (CCJ), with bail set at $400. He remains in custody pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
