(WNY News Now) – A residential fire on Prospect Street in Cherry Creek has prompted an investigation into its cause as authorities work to determine the origin of the blaze that left no reported injuries.
Cherry Creek, N.Y. – In the early hours of October 12, 2024, at approximately 6:31 a.m., Cherry Creek Fire Department, along with mutual aid units, responded to a fire at an unoccupied trailer on Prospect Street. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the scene was secured without any injuries reported.
Following the firefighting efforts, the Cherry Creek Fire Department requested the assistance of the Sheriff’s Office Fire Investigation Team to determine the cause and origin of the fire. While the investigation is ongoing, no further details regarding potential causes or suspects have been released at this time.
