(WNY News Now) – On October 18, 2024, a routine warrant execution in Newfane, NY, resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old woman, remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
Sheriff Eric A. Butler reported the arrest of Casie E. Boyle, age 36, at 9:17 a.m. on October 18, 2024. Boyle, a resident of Gleason Hill Road in Belfast, NY, was apprehended on an active bench warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Court. The warrant was served at a residence located at 2600 William Street in Newfane, New York.
Upon her arrest, Boyle was transported directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail. She is currently being held without bail, awaiting her court appearance before Judge Ploetz in Cattaraugus County Court. Boyle faces charges under Section 530.70(3) of New York State Penal Law. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
