(WNY News Now) – A routine police encounter in Jamestown led to the arrest of a Sinclairville man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On October 19, 2024, at approximately 12:00 PM, Jonah K. Warner, 32, of Sinclairville, New York, was taken into custody after an unrelated interaction with the City of Jamestown Police Department. During the encounter, officers discovered that Warner had an active warrant issued by the Town of Cold Spring Court.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies responded, and Warner was subsequently transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket and is required to appear in the Town of Cold Spring Court at a later date to face charges under Penal Law 155.25. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
