(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown resident has pled guilty to federal drug charges, facing significant prison time for meth distribution offenses following multiple arrests.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced that Willie C. Graham, 43, of Jamestown, NY, entered a guilty plea in U.S. District Court to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The charge carries a minimum mandatory sentence of five years, with potential penalties reaching 40 years in prison and fines up to $5 million.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna M. Duncan, handling the case, outlined the circumstances leading to Graham’s plea. On September 6, 2023, Jamestown Police stopped a vehicle where Graham was a passenger, finding multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia in the car and fentanyl on his person.

Another incident occurred on March 2, 2024, when Graham, again a passenger, fled from officers attempting a traffic stop. After law enforcement caught up, a search of the car revealed 11.6 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and $1,134 in cash.

The third encounter took place on April 30, 2024, when Jamestown Police apprehended Graham. At his arrest, he was found carrying methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, $185, and 10 different bank and benefit cards, some of which did not belong to him.

The Jamestown Police Department, led by Chief Timothy Jackson, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, under Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia, spearheaded the investigation.

Graham’s sentencing is scheduled for February 20, 2025, before Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr.
