(WNY News Now) – A male motorcyclist sustained significant injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Route 430 near Weaver Road on Sunday evening, November 17, 2024.

Bemus Point, NY — Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 6:31 p.m. Upon investigation, authorities determined the motorcyclist had been traveling westbound on Route 430 when he veered off the roadway, resulting in the crash. No other vehicles were involved.

The injured man was transported via Medivac to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania, for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed.

The investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing.
