(WNY News Now) – A morning traffic disruption in Tonawanda caused by a crash on the I-190 South ramp to I-290 East has been resolved.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has confirmed the clearance of a crash that earlier impacted traffic on the I-190 South ramp to I-290 East in Tonawanda. The incident, which was first reported at 8:44 AM, temporarily closed the left lane of the ramp, leading to delays during peak commute hours.

Motorists navigating the area were urged to exercise caution and consider alternate routes while emergency responders and crews addressed the scene. As of now, the roadway has been cleared, and normal traffic flow has resumed.
