(WNY News Now) – Two separate crashes on Route 33 West caused lane closures early Thursday morning, impacting traffic in Cheektowaga and Buffalo.
Drivers along Route 33 West in Erie County experienced delays during the morning rush hour following two reported vehicle accidents.
The first incident occurred at 6:40 a.m. beyond Route 277 in Cheektowaga, leading to the closure of the right lane. Authorities cleared the scene shortly after the initial report, restoring traffic flow.
A second crash, reported at 6:44 a.m., took place beyond Grider Street in Buffalo, where the left lane was temporarily blocked. As of the time of this report, updates on this crash are pending.
