(WNY News Now) – A bench warrant for a Family Court Act violation culminated in the arrest of a Delevan resident.
DELEVAN, NY – On November 26, 2024, at approximately 1:02 a.m., Daryl J. Myers, 54, was taken into custody at his residence on Delevan Avenue by the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest stemmed from an active bench warrant for a violation of the Family Court Act.
Following the apprehension, Mr. Myers was transported to 12213 Olean Road in Yorkshire, NY, where custody was transferred to representatives of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for further legal proceedings. The warrant was issued through Wyoming County Family Court, where Myers is expected to address the violation.
Details regarding the charges were outlined under Penal Law 530.70(03), and no bail was specified at the time of arrest. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
