City lifts travel advisory after cooperative efforts and improved conditions.

(WNY News Now) – The City of Dunkirk Police Department announced early Friday morning that the travel advisory has been officially lifted. The decision was made in coordination with the Mayor’s Office, the Department of Public Works, and the Fire Department after assessing improved road and weather conditions.

Residents and commuters are now free to travel without restrictions, but authorities encourage caution as some areas may still experience residual winter hazards.

The police department expressed gratitude for the community’s cooperation during the advisory period, which played a vital role in ensuring public safety amidst challenging winter storms.
