(WNY News Now) – Syracuse, NY — A shooting incident on Syracuse Street that occurred early Saturday morning, December 14, 2024, has seen a positive update. The 34-year-old male victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, is now in stable condition and is expected to survive, according to Syracuse Police.
At around 1:41 a.m. on December 14, officers responded to a report from University Hospital, located at 750 East Adams Street, where the victim arrived in a private vehicle. He was immediately treated for serious injuries to his upper body. Although the victim’s condition was initially reported as critical, authorities now confirm that he is stable.
The shooting took place in the 100 block of Syracuse Street, and an ongoing investigation is being handled by the Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. As of now, the investigation remains active, with no further details released about potential suspects or motives.
