(WNY News Now) – The city of Lockport has declared a code blue notice for tonight, December 26th, through 8 a.m. tomorrow, December 27th.
Code Blue will be in effect tonight from Thursday December 26th through tomorrow December 27th, 2024. Overnight temperatures are forecast below freezing throughout the period. Mayor Lombardi has called for Code Blue to continue through 8 am on Friday morning December 27th, 2024.
Any homeless person or individual without heat can go to the Salvation Army directly between the hours of 8 pm – 10 pm, if after 10 pm, please report to the walk-up window at the Niagara Street entrance of Lockport Police Department where they will assist individuals seeking shelter.
