(WNY News Now) – Hinsdale, NY – A 46-year-old Bolivar man was apprehended on a bench warrant by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office following an incident in Allegany County.
Michael R. French was taken into custody on December 26, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Deputies executed the warrant, which originated from Cattaraugus County Court, and subsequently transported French to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
Authorities confirmed that French is being held pending further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
