(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, NY — A man is recovering after being injured in a shooting on Thursday, December 26, near Costello Court.
At approximately 6:13 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to Upstate University Hospital after reports of a man suffering gunshot wounds. The victim sustained injuries to his arm and abdomen but is currently listed in stable condition, according to police reports.
Preliminary investigations indicate the shooting occurred on Costello Court around 6 p.m., just minutes before police were notified. The motive behind the incident remains unclear.
