(WNY News Now) – Authorities have dismantled a theft ring spanning multiple counties, arresting three individuals linked to a series of lawn mower thefts, with more suspects still under investigation.

A months-long investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrests of three individuals accused of orchestrating a series of lawn mower thefts across Ontario, Seneca, and Wayne Counties.

The thefts, which occurred predominantly in July, targeted homes, businesses, and even retail stores such as Walmart, leaving property owners across the region on edge.

The suspects, identified as Alyssa Rondon, 33, of Geneva; Brandon Rhodes, 31, of Farmington; and David Fallon, 42, who is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges, are facing multiple criminal counts. Among these is the serious charge of Enterprise Corruption, which authorities say reflects their “participation together in three or more felony offenses as part of an ongoing course of criminal conduct.”

Additional suspects are being pursued, with more arrests anticipated as the investigation deepens.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
