(WNY News Now) – Gowanda, NY — A routine patrol turned into a successful warrant execution on December 28, 2024, as deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a local woman with an outstanding arrest warrant.
Stacey A. Scinta, 34, of Gowanda, was observed outside a residence on Commercial Street around 12:15 p.m. Deputies identified Scinta as the subject of an active warrant issued by the Village of Gowanda Police Department. Following her arrest, Scinta was transported to the Village of Gowanda Police Department, where she was handed over to authorities without incident.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
