(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man is facing serious charges after an early morning domestic dispute led to his arrest for criminal obstruction of breathing, along with a separate warrant for endangering the welfare of a child.

On January 1, 2025, at approximately 12:14 AM, officers from the Third Platoon responded to a domestic dispute on the East Side of Jamestown. Upon arrival, law enforcement officials determined that 24-year-old Dominick Harrison had physically assaulted a female victim by grabbing her around the neck, restricting her ability to breathe. This led to his arrest on charges of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

As the investigation progressed, officers discovered that both Harrison and the female victim had active warrants for Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The warrants, unrelated to the current incident, further complicated the situation.

Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the City Jail where they are being held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
