(WNY News Now) – A fire that broke out at a residence on Busti Sugar Grove Road on January 5, 2025, has been ruled accidental following an investigation by the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team.
On January 5, 2025, emergency responders were called to a residence on Busti Sugar Grove Rd after a fire broke out in the home. The Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was promptly requested to investigate the cause and origin of the blaze.
Upon inspection, investigators found that the fire originated in the attic space of the residence. After a thorough examination, the team concluded that the fire was caused by an electrical issue. The investigation revealed no signs of foul play, and the incident has been ruled as accidental in nature.
