(WNY News Now) – Christopher J. Jenkins, 37, of Falconer, NY, was arrested on January 2nd in connection with a shoplifting incident at a local convenience store.

Ellicott, N.Y. – On January 2nd, 2025, Christopher J. Jenkins, 37, of Falconer, NY, was arrested by the Town of Ellicott Police following a warrant check. The arrest was tied to an outstanding petit larceny warrant for an alleged shoplifting incident that occurred in November 2024 at a Falconer convenience store.

The Town of Ellicott Police responded to the warrant check and confirmed that Jenkins was wanted for the theft. As a result, Jenkins was charged with petit larceny and issued an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott court at a later date to address the charge.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
