(WNY News Now) – The Allegany County Democrats will kick off their monthly “Coffee with Democrats” event on January 11, supporting Angelica’s Blessing Box pantry through a collection of non-perishable food and personal care items.

Belmont, NY – When the Allegany County Democrats gather for their monthly “Coffee with Democrats” on Saturday, January 11th in Angelica, they’ll be collecting non-perishable food and personal care items to be donated to the Blessing Box pantry sponsored by Angelica’s Methodist Church.

“This is the second year that county Democrats have organized monthly collections,” says County Chair Karen Ash. “Coffee with Democrats is held at a different location each month. Wherever we meet, we donate to the pantry in that town. Serving our community in this way is a simple yet meaningful expression of our organization’s and our party’s values.”

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 22 W. Main St., Angelica and is open to all registered Democrats. Coffee and light snacks will be served. Sign up here to attend.
