(WNY News Now) – TOWN OF STOCKTON – January 9, 2025 – A late-night snowmobile accident in the Town of Stockton resulted in one individual being transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at approximately 11:48 PM near Munger Road. Preliminary investigations revealed that the operator, a 38-year-old male from Dunkirk, NY, was traveling north through a wooded area when he lost control of his snowmobile, leading to the crash.
Emergency responders, including Chautauqua County EMS, North Lake Fire Department, and Stockton Fire Department, arrived on the scene to provide assistance. The operator was subsequently transported to UPMC Hamot for treatment.
