(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, NY – A Salamanca man was taken into custody on January 7, 2025, following the execution of a bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
Douglas J. Zolner Jr., 44, was arrested at approximately 4:30 PM at the Salamanca Bingo Hall. Authorities from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office executed the bench warrant, which had been issued for Zolner’s failure to appear in court.
After his arrest, Zolner was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail. He is currently being held pending arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
