(WNY News Now) – A Falconer resident faces legal repercussions following allegations of trespassing and violating a stay-away order of protection at a local business.

Ellicott, N.Y. – The Town of Ellicott Police Department has announced the arrest of 34-year-old Amra Y. Cuhel of Falconer on charges of criminal contempt in the second degree and trespass. The arrest occurred on January 11 after police responded to a trespassing complaint.

According to authorities, Cuhel was found on a property from which she had previously been advised to stay away. Further investigation revealed that a court-issued stay-away order of protection prohibited her from being at the property, which serves as the protected party’s place of employment.

Cuhel was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges against her.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
