(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Hinsdale resident on an active felony bench warrant on January 6th, 2025.

HINSDALE, NY — On January 6, 2025, at approximately 1:01 a.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Andrew J. Greinert, 34, at his residence on Mill Street in Hinsdale. Greinert was taken into custody without incident based on an active felony bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.

Following the arrest, Greinert was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending further court proceedings. The charges against him stem from New York State Criminal Procedure Law 530.70-3, which involves violations related to court-ordered conditions of release.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
