(WNY News Now) – A 32-year-old Hanover man was arrested on multiple charges, including burglary and attempted assault, following an altercation at a local residence on January 22, 2025.
At approximately 10:00 PM on January 22, 2025, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the New York State Police, responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence in the Town of Hanover. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that 32-year-old Jesse Figuero had unlawfully entered the home, causing damage to property and attempting to assault an individual inside.
According to the investigation, Figuero’s actions led to charges of burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, and attempted assault in the third degree. The incident prompted a swift response from authorities, who arrested Figuero at the scene.
Figuero was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for processing and was scheduled for arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
