(WNY News Now) – A 67-year-old Ripley woman has been charged with false reporting after authorities discovered her emergency call was fabricated.
On January 23, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency call in the Town of Ripley. The caller, identified as Robin K. Woodcock, claimed an urgent incident requiring immediate attention. However, upon investigation, deputies determined that Woodcock had knowingly reported a false emergency.
