(WNY News Now) – A motor vehicle accident in the Town of Harmony led to the arrest of a Clymer man on multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated.

Harmony, N.Y. – On Saturday, January 25, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Kings Corners Road and Weeks Road in the Town of Harmony.

Upon arrival, deputies identified the driver as 54-year-old Ronald P. Huntington of Clymer, New York. Following an investigation, authorities determined Huntington was driving while intoxicated.

Huntington was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), driving while intoxicated per se (a charge applied when a driver’s blood alcohol concentration exceeds the legal limit of 0.08%), and moving from a lane unsafely.

Huntington has been issued a court appearance in the Town of Harmony Court at a later date to answer to these charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
