(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Little Valley resident following a traffic investigation.

LITTLE VALLEY, NY — Deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kenneth J. Grainer, 30, of Little Valley, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree (AUO 1st).

The arrest followed an investigation into a traffic complaint in the Village of Little Valley at approximately 8:45 p.m. Deputies observed Grainer operating his vehicle on Fair Oak Street despite having a felony-level number of suspensions on his driver’s license.

Grainer was taken into custody at the scene. After processing, he was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Little Valley Court on an undisclosed future date to address the charges.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
