(WNY News Now) – CHARLOTTE, NY – A months-long narcotics investigation in the Town of Charlotte resulted in a search warrant execution at 6175 Rt 60, leading to the arrest of a Sinclairville woman on multiple drug and firearm charges.

Narcotics Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, and Dunkirk Police Department executed the warrant on January 29, 2025, at approximately 9:15 a.m. During the search, authorities discovered 78.6 grams of methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, a firearm, and over $400 in cash.

Nichole L. Olmstead, 42, was present at the residence and was charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (Class A-II felony)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B felony)
- Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (Class A misdemeanor)
- Criminal Possession of a Firearm (Class E felony)
Olmstead was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
