(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown early Sunday morning resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old man on felony DWI and drug possession charges.
At approximately 12:02 a.m. on February 2, 2025, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s third platoon observed a vehicle being driven without headlights near Foote Avenue and Harrison Street. A traffic stop was initiated, and the driver was identified as Isiah T. Fuentes.
Officers determined that Fuentes was operating the vehicle while intoxicated, leading to his immediate arrest. A further search revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine. Due to his prior convictions, Fuentes faces felony charges for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, and multiple traffic citations.
Fuentes was transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
