(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, N.Y. – A Jamestown woman was arrested on an active petit larceny warrant early Monday morning following a traffic stop.
According to the Town of Ellicott Police Department, Brea A. Carlson Wilkins, 33, was taken into custody on January 27, 2025, at 2:09 a.m. after the Jamestown Police Department located her during a traffic stop in the city of Jamestown. Authorities say Wilkins had an active warrant for petit larceny related to an incident that occurred on December 24, 2024.
Ellicott police officers responded to the warrant check and took Wilkins into custody. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charge.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
