(WNY News Now) – NEW ALBION, NY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested an 18-year-old Salamanca resident on February 4, 2025 in connection with a burglary at the Cattaraugus-Little Valley School.

Following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Bureau, authorities charged Traeston R. Snyder with Burglary in the Third Degree and Petit Larceny. Investigators allege that Snyder, acting with another individual, unlawfully entered the school and stole multiple items.

Snyder was arraigned in the Town of New Albion Court and is scheduled to return for further proceedings. After his arraignment, he was transported to the Salamanca Police Department on an unrelated outstanding warrant.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
