ALBANY, NY – Senator George Borrello has been recognized by the New York State Conservative Party for earning a 100% conservative rating on the party’s 2024 legislative scorecard. The rating, based on votes cast on 27 key bills during the 2024 legislative session, places Senator Borrello among an select group of just nine senators to achieve a perfect conservative score.
The annual Conservative Party ratings assess legislators on votes related to economic policy, public safety, government accountability, and individual liberties—issues central to New York’s conservative voters. This year’s ratings underscore the stark contrast in Albany, with Senate Democrats averaging just 16.2%, while Senate Republicans averaged 92%.
“I am honored to receive a 100% conservative rating from the New York State Conservative Party,” said Senator George Borrello. “New Yorkers are tired of skyrocketing taxes, rising crime, and government overreach that continues to drive families and businesses out of our state.
